Volume 2, covering the years, 1923-25 of The Letters of Ernest Hemingway, was published back in September. Volume 1, 1907-1922, that I covered in an earlier post was published in 2011. It covers Hemingway’s upbringing, his early journalism in Kansas City, service with the Red Cross in Italy, and his move to Paris. Volume 2 is more interesting, as it covers his early years as an aspiring author and his first big success, with The Sun Also Rises.
Can’t wait to get this. Guess which version I’m getting.
