Folio Society publishes the Mappa Mundi


The Mappa Mundi, latin for cloth or map of the world, also known as the Hereford World Map — created ca. 1300 AD is undeniably an important cultural artifact. It shows us how medieval people saw the physical world around them; perhaps more importantly, it also reveals how they perceived it culturally and spiritually.
