I received an e-mail yesterday from Amazon.com on my order made on October 6th, 2011, of Steve Jobs—a biography by acclaimed author, Walter Isaacson (author of Benjamin Franklin: An American Life which I have in a publication by The Folio Society and Kissinger: A Biography). Steve Jobs was published on Monday, October 24th, 2011 by Simon & Schuster.
I know I could have bought it for Amazon.co.uk and saved myself Danish VAT 25% but at the time that I ordered it, there was an error on the Amazon.co.uk website showing the total pages published as 456 instead of 656 pages on the US page. So honestly believing such error was true I ordered it from the US website. Amazon.co.uk has since corrected the error and now it is too late to cancel my original order. Actually I don’t mind, I am really looking forward to this book.
Amazon.com have estimated a delivery date of November 28th, 2011, in a months time. Oh well.
